LogicControl ERLC100 control unit for greenhouse

The EP LogicControl RLC100 is a control unit designed to power and control theEP LogicDrive RLD80 and RLD200 drive units. The LogicControl RLC100 relays the control signal from a climate controller to the LogicDrive drive units for accurately and flawlessly positioning air inlet valves and air valves in livestock houses, for instance. The components of the LogicControl RLC100 control cabinets are enclosed in a plastic housing with protection class IP54. This makes the RLC100 fully resistant to water and dust.

The RLC100 control unit is powered by a 1-phase current of 100 ... 250 V (50/60 Hz). The power supply module of the RLC100 converts this current to a stable 24 V DC voltage for powering theEP LogicDrive drive units. The RLC100 is available in two models: the RLC101 for controlling one RLD80 or RLD200 drive unit and the RLC102 for independently controlling two RLD80 drive units. The power supply module of the RLC100 control unit is protected against overloading, overvoltage and temperature overshoots.

To adjust a LogicDrive to an emergency position, the RLC100 must be connected to aEP LogicPower RLP200 emergency power supply. In the event of a power failure, the RLP200 is activated to supply power to the RLC100 control unit and RLD80 or RLD200 drive units. The RLC100 then adjusts the drive unit to the pre-set emergency position: Open, closed, a position set with the RLC100 rotary knob, or the taught-in emergency position of the RLD80/RLD200 drive unit. If a power failure occurs, the alarm contact of the RLC100 opens.

The RLC100 can be controlled automatically by a climate controller with a 0 ... 10 V DC control signal. When in automatic mode, the RLC100 relays this control signal instantly to a Logic Drive RLD80 or RLD200 drive unit. The RLC100 allows you to set the minimum value of the control signal: 0 V DC, 1 V DC or 2 V DC. The maximum value is 10 V DC in all cases. If the minimum value of the control voltage is set to 1 V DC or 2 V DC, then the control signal will be considered lost if the control voltage drops below this value. If this happens, the RLC100 reports the alarm condition via a LED signal and alarm contact. An RLC100 control unit also allows you to manually control the RLD80 or RLD200 drive unit using a rotary knob. The range of the rotary knob is between the pre-set minimum and maximum control voltage. The LED signal from the LogicControl RLC100 enables the status of the control unit to be displayed at any time.

The LogicControl RLC100 control units are easy to mount and install. The RLC100 control units are fitted with readily accessible terminal strips to connect the cables. The RLC100 is also equipped with cable glands to feed through the cables.
